Managing Attorney Alex Couch

ALEX R. COUCH

Originally from Denver, Colorado. Mr. Couch has resided in Central Florida for nearly 40 years. Mr. Couch graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University School of Law. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Florida Bar. Alex served as a teaching and research assistant to Water Law and Environmental Law Professor Robert Abrams.

Prior to going to law school Alex earned extensive experience in the construction and IT industries. Mr. Couch has had the privilege of presenting for continuing legal education to other attorneys. He has been recognized for his pro bono work in the graduate ad litem program by the Orange County Legal Aid Society.

Alex Couch is an accomplished litigation attorney and managing attorney at Normand PLLC. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Couch has been worked on and been designated as class counsel in numerous class action cases His discovery work has involved management of voluminous productions, including review and analysis of structured and unstructured data, complex interrogatories, and electronic data covering hundreds of thousands of claim records.

Alex is regarded by his clients for his professionalism and effective advocacy. His unwavering commitment to representing everyday consumers with intensity and integrity is reflected in the frequent praise he receives for client-first service. Mr. Couch has extensive experience litigating both individual and class-wide claims involving undervaluation of total loss vehicle claims, coverage denials, improper claim adjustments, and insurer misconduct.

He has briefed and argued complex legal and procedural issues involving insurance law, statutory compliance, policy interpretation, and evidentiary standards in both trial and appellate courts.
