Lawrence Cody
Lawrence Cody is an associate attorney at Normand PLLC, where he represents clients nationwide in complex litigation matters. His practice focuses on high-stakes class actions and consumer protection disputes, including cases involving insurance underpayments, unfair business practices, and violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Lawrence’s work at Normand PLLC is built on years of experience with the firm prior to becoming an attorney. As a law clerk, he played an active role in multi-million-dollar class action litigation, assisting with case development, legal research, motion drafting, and strategic analysis. That foundation provides him with a deep understanding of the procedural and substantive complexities that define large-scale consumer cases.
Before joining Normand PLLC full time, Lawrence gained valuable courtroom experience as a Certified Legal Intern with the Office of the State Attorney in Clearwater, Florida. In that role, he helped try a case to verdict and argued matters before the court, developing strong litigation and advocacy skills early in his legal career. He also previously served as a legal assistant in prosecutorial offices in Gainesville, working within the domestic violence and special victims units, where he supported case preparation and victim advocacy efforts.
Lawrence earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
