Managing Attorney Amy Judkins
Amy Judkins is the managing attorney at Normand PLLC. Amy works with the class-action group at Normand PLLC, where she acts as lead or co-lead counsel on numerous class-action cases, representing insureds and consumers in federal and state courts throughout the country.
Prior to joining Normand PLLC, Amy worked as associate in the business litigation group of the law firm Dean Mead, where she represented businesses in a variety of complex business litigations, including cases involving copyright and trademark infringement, conspiracy, breach of contract, and employment matters. She was lead-counsel for a pro bono federal jury trial on a 42 U.S.C. § 1983 case in her second year of private practice, earning her the recognition of Pro Bono Superstar by the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar.
Prior to private practice, Amy served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul G. Byron in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Amy received a bachelor of science degree from North Carolina State University, and her law degree from Florida A&M College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude (third in her class).
Prior to attending law school, Amy worked as a biologist and environmental consultant at the Florida consulting firm Breedlove, Dennis, and Associates, where she assisted some of the largest landowners in Florida with large-scale environmental planning, permitting, and natural-resource management. As part of her consulting work, she assisted with preparing and providing expert testimony on the application of the Clean Water Act, sparking an interest and love of the law.
